About our wool

With a little simple care our garments will retain their shape and last for years. They can be dry cleaned or hand washed as follows:

*** HANDWASH using ONLY a detergent recommended for wool - this will have the correct PH
*** Avoid extreme water temperature changes - these can cause shrinkage
*** Avoid excessive movement whilst the garment is wet, as this can cause felting

Run warm water into a large tub and thoroughly dissolve detergent appropriate for wool. Immerse garment, squeeze gently once or twice, DO NOT AGITATE. Leave to soak for 30 minutes. Supporting the weight of the garment, lift out and squeeze to remove excess water. Run lukewarm rinse water and again immerse garment - leave ten minutes. Remove as before. To speed drying time and remove excess water, the garment can now be put into the washing machine (top loading machine only) for a SPIN CYCLE ONLY. Dry away from direct heat or sunlight. Spread flat on a dry towel and pat into shape. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.

Press with a warm steam iron if necessary and store folded or rolled.

Our garments are made in Australian from 100% pure Australian wool.
